The principle of partnership, which requires the Crown and Māori to work in partnership in the governance, design, delivery, and monitoring of health and disability services. Māori must be co-designers, with the Crown, of the primary health system for Māori

Utilising the knowledge of our tupuna to create an environment that encourages ongoing learning & development

Celebrating and fostering spiritual totality as an integral part of our business. Sharing the responsibility of practicing wairuatanga (through karakia and tikanga i.e., powhiri)

Understanding each person within the context of their whānau or family. Enabling each person to identify what is important to them and supporting them to help them uphold those values

Respecting the uniqueness of each person and their right to self-determination. Promoting empowerment, leadership and self-management
